Prevent abuse of your credit information

But a recent spate of incidents where such information has been compromised, throws up a lot of uncomfortable questions. This means that the onus of keeping your credit information safe at all times rests with you. While that may not be practically possible, you could always take steps to prevent the abuse of your credit card information.
